Think of your child security in case of an emergency

Did you know that if your child is in school during a disaster, the school district can tell the school not to release your children to you, or anyone on the emergency card? If the police or fire department believes your child would be safer in school than with you, they notify the NDMA of that school district and the district will notify the school. For people who do not know what the heck is NDMA. Its the 'National Disaster Management System' in Pakistan.

Now I am sure if any parent is reading my post and living in a country like Pakistan would definitely think of this as a crap because everyone knows our system here. Its so badly illegitimate to handle normal case scenarios at accidents and average natural disasters that any parent would gladly not rely on anyone other than themselves (i.e., mother and father or elder siblings/relatives/guardians).

I am writing this post as I have recently saw and heard a senior post person in a private school in Lahore about this scenario and talked about facing the situation himself. I was forced to think about it that if such situation occurs what is one to do when the school guard or a guy from police and fire department stops a parent at school door not allowing to take away his/her child. The authority board says that its for their children own safety.

Now I ask them, "If I decide that my child is much safer than me and can I take my child out?" They have no answer for this. This is a very small issue which may or can occur rare but there are so many cases like these on daily basis happening in our country which has to be resolved and overseen. A teacher is supposed to be a spiritual guide for your child but look around in all schools and educational centers and tell me if you see such teachers. They won't even bother these days to hold and restrict a child in class who abuses or create problems with someone. Its a double triple responsibility on a parent and a guardian to look after his/own own children these days and take on to a lot of duties which is actually a responsibility on children schools, teachers, our system and our government. Please do not see where your child is being educated. Its all about how your child is being educated.

Do check out the link below as I feel that being a teacher (at one stage of my life) I should share it with other teachers and parents how they can do some more good to their children.

All the best everyone. May our children be safe and get Almighty's blessings and protection. Amen.

Pasha's Birthday

Said Mama. "Pasha, My Birthday Boy
The post has brought you many a toy

Wake up, then, now, my sleepy Ted!"
So little Pasha sat up in bed
And opening parcels one by one
He found the first contained a drum

Then next he found a cricket bat
And then a little shortbread cat

A torch which gave a splendid light
And such a jolly paper kite

A lovely garden spade and rake
From Mama, and a birthday cake

Pasha's shouts made all the neighbourhood ring
He was so pleased with everything.

THE RABBIT'S DAY

Just a little shadow, just a little sun.

just a little romp, just a little run.

Just a little work, just a little play.

Just a little shut-eye at the end of the day.

Old Friends New Friends...

Old friends, new friends,
It’s good to have a friend!
I like you and you like me,

It’s good to have a friend.

Old friends say, ‘Hello, how are you?’
It’s good to have a friend.
New People say, ‘Hello, what’s your name?’
But they’ll soon be your friends.

I like you and you like me,
It’s good to have a friend.
Are you new in this class?
Well, you’ll soon have new friends.

Everybody wants to know your name,
They’ll soon know your name.
I like you and you like me,
It’s good to have a friend.

We are friends. We are friends.
It’s good to have a friend.

Song no. 1 - "Hello Again"

Hello again. Hello again.
It's nice to see you here again.
It's always nice to see good friends.
It's nice to see you here again.

Each year some things are different,
but some things are the same.
It's always nice to see good friends.
It's nice to see you here again.
